1-ON-1 COLORADO INVESTMENT PROGRAM

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

Spend five days in Breckenridge Colorado, working alongside a professional fund manager. Chris Stanford has over 14 years of proven returns & investment experience across the spectrum. Additionally, back in 2015, he was mentored by Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman. Throughout our 5-day program, you will learn how to build a multi-strategy portfolio by trading stocks, options, bonds, forex, commodities, and various other asset classes. The program includes five days with Chris, meals, lodging, lifetime access to our online course, equity research, and access to our discord.

The focus of the week is to gain an understanding of the core elements of finance. All you need to get started is a computer, five free days, and an open mindset. It is helpful to have some prior experience, but by no means is that necessary. Classes are catered to your learning speed. Beginners and veterans are welcome. This course studies the concepts and evidence relevant to the management of investment portfolios. The course covers current conceptual and theoretical valuation frameworks into practical approaches.

OUR STRATEGY

Multi-strategy investing is when you combine various types of portfolios each with different asset classes, position-sizing, goals, time horizons, and criteria. Our fund manages more than 20 different portfolios. Some of them rely much more on fundamentals than technicals and vice versa. Almost every portfolio has a mix of these two elements, just not equally weighted.

Core portfolios-Our core portfolio has the largest portfolio allocation, longest hold time, and they are the positions we are most knowledgeable about. The holdings tend to be large-cap equities with very minimal annual standard deviation in stock performance. Generally, I’m only adding to this portfolio a few times a year. The market rarely provides true deals. A large portion of our time is spent identifying companies that we like, and either waiting for the prices to come down or running options strategies until they do.

Income generation portfolios- These tend to be market-neutral portfolios. The goal is to capture excess returns with minimal risk. The purpose of having income-related portfolios is to create financial liquidity. Ideally, we never have to tap into the other portfolios when we need money. Often the preferred methods of income generation are options spreads, levered dividend portfolios, levered bond portfolios, and selling covered calls.

The hedge portfolios-It’s important that you develop the capability to hedge your core positions. Often long-term returns on core positions exceed our wildest expectations. Portfolio managers are likely to outperform the broader market if they continue moving in and out of their core positions. Hedging allows us to hold positions even whenever the market seems too expensive.

Aggressive growth portfolios- Although most of my capital is focused on long-time frame ideas, I’m still allocating a decent percentage toward short term trade setups. The most important thing is that the allocation never overshadows the consistency of the long-term ideas. Our short term aggressive growth positions tend to be long options, mid-cap equities, and futures.
